Qualitätsmanagement in der Kriminalprävention

Knowledge-based prevention
english

The development of prevention strategies based on reliable information and scientific evidence about the targeted issues, rather than relying on other considerations, including political persuasion. This approach requires the use of large data-sets and specific tools and processes, such as safety audits, surveys (e.g. victimization surveys), or observatories. It also includes an evidence-based (or evidence-led) approach, which integrates the results of rigorous evaluations.
